Alison VredenburghAlison Vredenburgh, Ph.D., CPE

Dr. Alison Vredenburgh (Ph.D., industrial-organizational psychology) has formed her company with the goal of developing lasting relationships with clients. She strives to stay current with the latest research in her field, while communicating this technical information in plain English to organizational clients and juries. She holds a professional certification as an ergonomist (CPE). She has published dozens of studies in the areas of human factors, safety and psychology. Dr. Vredenburgh has served as an expert witness for hundreds of personal injury and products liability cases. She has testified in Municipal, Superior and Federal District Courts. Prior to consulting, she worked in the aerospace industry, where she developed an emergency preparedness program plan, administered the performance improvement program, and developed and conducted numerous employee training programs.

ZackowitzIlene Zackowitz, Ph.D., CPE

Dr. Ilene Zackowitz (Ph.D. Industrial-Organizational Psychology) has been working with Dr. Vredenburgh since 1996. She completed a Ph.D. level internship in forensic human factors. She performs both litigation and industrial-organizational consulting. She has conducted and published original research in the areas of human factors and safety. She has assisted numerous organizations in developing and implementing pro-active ergonomics programs. Dr. Zackowitz holds a professional certification as an ergonomist (CPE). She has served as an expert witness for personal injury and product liability cases and has testified in Superior Court.

Jerry WelnerJerry Welner, M.S.

Jerry Welner (M.S. Engineering, UCLA) has been working with Dr. Vredenburgh since 1995. He retired from Hughes Aircraft Company as a Senior Scientist. He has conducted and published original research in several areas of engineering. Mr. Welner performs both litigation and industrial-organizational consulting. He works on failure analysis and product evaluation for products cases, and performs analysis for slip/trip/misstep and fall accidents. Mr. Welner is a life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). In his free time, he makes violins and plays in a symphony.
